Immense Group’s sports betting brand DBET has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership with the Swedish Basketball Association (SBBF), further expanding its growing presence within Swedish sport. The deal will see DBET serve as the official betting partner of both the Swedish national basketball teams and the country’s top domestic leagues, SBL Women (SBL Dam) and SBL Men (SBL Herr).
The partnership officially kicks off with the Women’s European Championship 2025 and will run through the Men’s World Championship 2027, providing DBET with long-term visibility and engagement opportunities across key basketball events in Sweden.
Under the terms of the agreement, DBET will sponsor both the senior national teams and Sweden’s top professional basketball leagues. The collaboration is designed to help elevate the profile of basketball throughout Sweden, drive wider fan engagement and bring new energy to the sport at both elite and grassroots levels.
Prominent branding and activation opportunities will be visible across national team matches, SBL league games, fan zones and digital platforms. The partnership will enable DBET to reach an increasingly passionate and expanding basketball audience, as the sport continues to grow in popularity in Sweden.
Since launching in 2024, DBET has quickly built a reputation as a responsible and community-focused gaming operator in the Swedish market. This partnership underscores the brand’s ongoing commitment to supporting sport in Sweden in a manner that balances commercial opportunity with social responsibility.
Both DBET and SBBF will also collaborate on promoting responsible gaming awareness throughout the duration of the partnership. Initiatives will include educational messaging, community outreach and a focus on ensuring fans can enjoy their experiences in a safe and informed way.
The collaboration is a significant step in DBET’s wider strategy to deepen its footprint in Swedish sport. Beyond basketball, the brand has already built momentum through partnerships with football legend Anders Svensson and the Swedish Bandy Association, positioning itself as an emerging force in Sweden’s sports betting market.
“This is an exciting opportunity to broaden the reach of Swedish basketball and create new ways for fans to engage with the sport,” said Susanne Jidesten, Chairwoman of the Swedish Basketball Association.
Jesper Kärrbrink, Group CEO and Chairman of Immense Group, added, “Basketball is one of the fastest-growing sports in Sweden. This partnership allows us to further engage with Swedish sports fans while continuing to build DBET’s position in the market.”
Running through to the 2027 Men’s World Championship, this multi-year deal will provide DBET and Swedish basketball with time to build meaningful and lasting impact together. It represents a clear commitment to growing the sport both at the national and league level while helping deliver new experiences and value for Swedish basketball fans.
