DraftKings and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) have announced the launch of a new responsible gaming campaign, aimed at promoting safer betting practices and raising awareness about responsible play among sports fans and bettors. The initiative leverages the global reach of the UFC and DraftKings' extensive player base to drive engagement with responsible gaming tools and resources.
Central to the campaign is the use of high-profile UFC commentator Jon Anik as the face of the messaging. Anik delivers key responsible gaming messages that encourage bettors to use tools available through DraftKings' Responsible Gaming Center.
One featured tool is "My Stat Sheet," which allows players to monitor their betting behavior, track wins and losses, and gain a clearer understanding of their play patterns. The objective is to empower players with insights that support informed and balanced betting decisions.
The campaign officially debuted with a 15-second advertisement during the ceremonial weigh-in for UFC 316. This was followed by two 30-second spots aired during the main UFC 316 event. A shorter version of the campaign is also scheduled to be broadcast during UFC 318, ensuring ongoing visibility at major fight events throughout the season.
In addition to in-event advertising, the campaign will be featured across DraftKings' and UFC’s social media platforms, maximizing its reach and reinforcing responsible gaming messages to a broad, engaged audience.
The initiative builds upon the existing strategic relationship between DraftKings and the UFC. DraftKings has served as the UFC’s official sportsbook and daily fantasy partner in the U.S. and Canada since 2021.
