iGaming content provider BGaming has announced a new partnership with Brazilian football legend Júlio César, as part of its strategy to expand in Latin America ahead of the 2026 Fifa World Cup.
The collaboration will see the launch of Penalty Duel with Júlio César, a casual football-themed game where the former goalkeeper features as the central character. Players take on the role of a penalty taker, aiming to score goals and unlock multipliers through timing-based mechanics.
The game is designed to deliver a fast-paced experience inspired by football, with a strong focus on accessibility and engagement.
Two key features have been introduced to increase gameplay depth. The “Chance” feature improves the likelihood of triggering bonus elements, while the “Buy Bonus” option allows players to access a special round with multiple penalty attempts alongside César in a themed Rio setting.
The game is scheduled for release in June, strategically aligned with the build-up to the 2026 World Cup.
BGaming views the partnership as part of a broader effort to strengthen its presence in the Latin American market. By integrating a well-known football figure directly into the product, the company aims to create culturally relevant content that resonates with regional audiences.
The deal reflects a wider trend of iGaming providers leveraging sports personalities and major events to drive engagement and product differentiation.
With the World Cup approaching, football-themed content is expected to play a key role in attracting new users and increasing player activity.
