FC Bayern has named Mega Casino World an Official Regional Partner across key Asian markets in a three-year agreement through 2029.
FC Bayern Munich has announced a three-year commercial partnership with Asian iGaming brand Mega Casino World (MCW), further expanding the Bundesliga champion’s commercial presence across Asia.
Under the agreement, Mega Casino World becomes an Official Regional Partner of FC Bayern, with the partnership covering markets across South Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia and East Asia.
The agreement begins with the new football season and will run for three campaigns until 30 June 2029, providing both parties with a long-term platform for regional promotions, football-related communications and fan engagement.
Asia represents an important part of FC Bayern’s international commercial strategy, with the club having established a physical presence across several major markets in the region.
FC Bayern currently operates offices in Shanghai and Bangkok and is also represented in Seoul, supporting the club’s efforts to develop its fanbase and commercial network across Asia.
The Mega Casino World agreement adds another regional partner to that strategy and provides the iGaming company with an association with one of European football’s most recognisable clubs.
Rouven Kasper, FC Bayern Executive Board Member and Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, highlighted the importance of the region to the club.
“Asia is an important market for the club. For this reason we are very happy to start and develop this regional partnership,” Kasper said.
“Mega Casino World has a strong portfolio and a significant following throughout Asia. We are optimistic that this cooperation will broaden our reach in the Asian market.”
He added that the length of the agreement provides FC Bayern with an opportunity to further strengthen its commercial activities throughout the region.
“The three-year commitment with Mega Casino World will lift our commercial presence throughout Asia.”
The agreement also expands Mega Casino World’s existing involvement in European football.
The iGaming brand first established a German football connection through a partnership with Bundesliga International in 2023 and has previously worked with major European clubs as part of its efforts to engage football audiences across Asia.
The FC Bayern partnership provides MCW with a high-profile platform across a geographically diverse group of markets, where European football continues to attract significant audiences.
For Mega Casino World, the partnership is designed to strengthen brand recognition and deepen its connection with football supporters as the company expands its international sports marketing activities.
Mega Casino World Director Jeosid Dave Monarca described FC Bayern’s global reputation as a major factor behind the agreement.
“We are pleased to enter this regional partnership with FC Bayern Munich and recognise the club’s leading position in international football,” Monarca said.
“We have made notable strides, and this three-year agreement outlines a comprehensive strategy for international outreach, reinforcing our brand’s connection.”
He added that the partnership provides both organisations with an opportunity to increase their reach among Asian football audiences.
“We are delighted to partner with FC Bayern Munich as we continue expanding our presence across international sport. Their global reputation provides an excellent avenue for both sides to strengthen our reach and connect with football audiences across the region.”
The agreement reflects the continued importance of regional sponsorship models for major European football clubs looking to monetise their international fanbases.
Rather than providing Mega Casino World with global partnership rights, the arrangement focuses specifically on selected Asian territories, allowing FC Bayern to commercialise its brand with partners targeting particular geographic markets.
For gaming companies, these agreements provide access to established football brands while allowing marketing activity to be concentrated in markets that are commercially relevant to their operations.
FC Bayern’s established infrastructure in Shanghai, Bangkok and Seoul gives the club additional opportunities to activate the partnership locally rather than relying exclusively on visibility around matches in Germany.
With the agreement running until June 2029, Mega Casino World becomes the latest gaming brand to use a major European football partnership to strengthen its position across Asian markets, while FC Bayern continues expanding its regional commercial network.
