Lazio has announced a multi-year agreement with prediction market platform Polymarket, marking the club’s first main shirt sponsorship since 2023.
The deal will see Polymarket’s logo featured on Lazio’s jerseys starting immediately and running until at least June 2028, with an option to extend the partnership through 2029.
The Biancocelesti have been without a principal shirt sponsor since their previous agreement with Binance expired at the end of the 2022/23 season. The new partnership fills a significant commercial gap and provides a major boost to the club’s revenue streams.
According to the agreement, the deal is expected to generate more than $22 million for Lazio over its initial term, making it a key component of the club’s commercial strategy.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito welcomed the partnership, highlighting Polymarket’s positioning as a leading prediction market platform. Polymarket also views the collaboration as an opportunity to increase brand visibility through one of Italy’s most recognisable football clubs.
The agreement reflects a broader trend of prediction market platforms expanding into sports sponsorships, following similar partnerships across major leagues and competitions.
With this deal, Lazio strengthens its commercial position while Polymarket gains high-profile exposure in European football, signalling continued convergence between sports and emerging engagement platforms.
