Since their collaboration began in 2022, 888Africa has seen its customer base grow by over 800%, with Sportingtech’s platform playing a key role in establishing its market dominance - especially in Mozambique.
The expanded agreement grants 888Africa access to Sportingtech’s enhanced Quantum platform, featuring upgraded sportsbook and casino user interfaces designed to boost engagement and performance in competitive African markets. The improvements aim to deliver a more seamless experience for players and operators across the continent.
Anthony Murphy, Commercial Director at Sportingtech, emphasized that the renewal demonstrates the power of understanding local markets, building solid tech foundations, and working in true partnership. Christopher Coyne, CEO of 888Africa, highlighted the partnership’s role in achieving the operator’s leading status in Mozambique: “888 is now number one for market share in Mozambique and without doubt the Sportingtech platform has been a part of this result.”
Operating across key markets including Angola, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, and Malawi, 888Africa and Sportingtech are leveraging this agreement to deepen their presence continent‑wide. Players will benefit from further innovations like customizable events, BetBuilder features, and enhanced transparency in betting history—advancing Africa’s evolving iGaming landscape.
