The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has extended its partnership with Sportradar Integrity Services for the 2025 season, reinforcing its commitment to safeguarding the integrity of Brazilian football. The renewed agreement marks another step forward in the ongoing battle against match manipulation and suspicious betting activity across national competitions.
Under the extended partnership, Sportradar will continue deploying its Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS) to monitor more than 8,200 matches annually across all men’s and women’s competitions overseen by the CBF. The advanced monitoring system analyzes global betting markets to identify potential match-fixing patterns and integrity threats in real time.
The scope of coverage now includes all Brazilian national championships, significantly expanding the level of surveillance and proactive risk management across the country’s football calendar.
The collaboration between CBF and Sportradar has already shown meaningful results. In 2024, there was a 48% drop in suspected match-fixing incidents compared to the previous year, with 53 fewer cases reported. This sharp decline highlights the tangible impact of consistent monitoring and coordinated efforts to deter illicit activity in the sport.
The renewed partnership complements integrity measures already in place from global governing bodies, adding a powerful layer of localized oversight within Brazil’s domestic football ecosystem.
CBF leadership has reaffirmed that protecting the credibility of the game remains a top priority. Ensuring transparency and fairness across all levels of competition is seen as critical to both the sport’s reputation and its future development.
Sportradar also emphasized its dedication to the mission, noting that over 10,000 Brazilian football matches will be covered under the combined efforts of this agreement and existing global oversight. The partnership is part of a broader strategy to build long-term trust in Brazilian football among players, fans, sponsors, and international observers.
Having worked together since 2018, CBF and Sportradar continue to set a strong example of how football federations and data-driven integrity services can collaborate to protect the sport from manipulation and maintain fair competition on and off the field.
