SiGMA World returns to Rome from 2 to 5 November 2026, bringing together more than 30,000 delegates for four days of iGaming, technology and networking.

Rome is preparing to welcome one of the international iGaming industry's largest gatherings as SiGMA World 2026 takes place at Fiera Roma from 2 to 5 November.

Following its debut in the Italian capital last year, the event returns with an expanded exhibition and conference programme covering online gambling, sports betting, affiliate marketing, financial technology and emerging technologies.

Organisers expect more than 30,000 delegates, alongside over 1,200 sponsors and exhibitors and approximately 550 speakers.

The four-day event will bring together gambling operators, technology suppliers, affiliates, investors, regulators and other industry professionals.

This year's edition places particular emphasis on regulated gambling markets, with discussions expected to address the opportunities and challenges facing operators across Europe and beyond.

Four major industries come together

One of the main developments for 2026 is the integration of four specialist industry communities within the same event.

SiGMA World remains focused on the gambling sector, covering online casinos, sportsbooks, land-based gaming, regulatory developments and industry technology.

AIBC brings together companies working in artificial intelligence, blockchain and emerging technologies, including businesses developing new applications for digital gaming and financial services.

FX World focuses on financial markets, trading and fintech, while AGS provides a dedicated environment for affiliate marketing companies and digital acquisition specialists.

Bringing these sectors together creates opportunities for companies operating in different parts of the digital economy to establish commercial relationships.

For iGaming operators, this means access to payment providers, platform developers, technology businesses and affiliate networks within the same venue.

For suppliers and investors, the event provides an opportunity to meet potential customers and partners across several industries.

Regulation takes centre stage

Regulation is expected to be one of the most important topics at this year's summit.

Under the theme "Advancing Regulated Gaming", the event will bring together representatives of gambling authorities, operators and industry organisations to discuss developments across regulated markets.

Organisers expect approximately 65 regulators and regulatory representatives from different jurisdictions to attend.

The programme comes at a time when gambling companies are facing increasingly complex regulatory requirements.

Across Europe and other international markets, operators must navigate different licensing systems, advertising restrictions, responsible gambling obligations and compliance standards.

These issues directly influence where gambling companies can operate, how they acquire customers and which commercial partnerships they can pursue.

Discussions in Rome will provide an opportunity to examine how regulatory changes are affecting both established operators and companies seeking to enter new markets.

Italy will also receive particular attention as the host market, with its domestic gambling sector and regulatory framework featuring in the wider programme.

Technology, payments and customer acquisition

Beyond regulation, the conference will examine developments affecting the commercial and technological operations of gambling companies.

Artificial intelligence, platform development, payment infrastructure and affiliate marketing will feature across the different conference programmes.

For online casino and sportsbook operators, technology continues to play an important role in customer experience, operational efficiency and compliance.

The presence of platform providers and technology suppliers will allow operators to explore new products and services while comparing solutions from competing businesses.

Affiliate marketing will also be represented through dedicated sessions and exhibition areas.

For operators seeking to expand internationally, affiliate partnerships remain an important customer acquisition channel, although advertising restrictions and compliance requirements differ considerably between markets.

The event's combination of gambling, technology and marketing companies makes it particularly relevant for businesses working across several parts of the industry.

Networking and commercial opportunities

Alongside the exhibition and conference programme, SiGMA World will host a series of networking activities.

These include business meetings, industry dinners, evening receptions, awards ceremonies and sporting events.

The organisers have also scheduled three startup pitch competitions, providing emerging companies with opportunities to present their businesses to potential investors and industry partners.

Four industry awards programmes will recognise companies and individuals working across the sectors represented at the event.

With participants travelling from around the world, the summit is expected to provide opportunities for companies to develop relationships outside their existing markets.

For businesses planning international expansion, meeting operators, suppliers and regulatory representatives in person can be particularly valuable.

The SiGMA Match platform will also help delegates organise meetings and navigate the event.

Rome hosts the summit for a second year

The 2026 edition marks SiGMA's second major gathering in Rome.

The event made its debut in the Italian capital in 2025, attracting approximately 30,000 attendees.

Its return reflects the organisers' decision to establish Rome as a major destination within the international iGaming conference calendar.

Fiera Roma provides the space required for the expanded exhibition, with dedicated areas for different industries and conference activities.

The venue is located at Via Portuense 1645, with access from the eastern entrance.

The event will run from Monday 2 November until Thursday 5 November, with the wider programme including activities both at the exhibition venue and elsewhere in the city.

Registration for SiGMA World 2026

Registration is open for industry professionals planning to attend the event.

Several ticket categories are available, including Standard, Premium and Platinum passes.

Standard tickets provide access to the exhibition, conferences and workshops, while higher-tier packages offer additional networking opportunities and event benefits.

Visitors are encouraged to review the different ticket options before registering, particularly if they intend to participate in the summit's networking dinners and other activities with restricted access.

With more than 30,000 delegates expected, SiGMA World 2026 will once again bring a substantial part of the international gambling industry together in one location.

For operators, suppliers, affiliates and investors, the Rome summit offers four days of industry discussions, product demonstrations and opportunities to establish new business relationships.
